As demand grows, many brands are ramping up EV production and launching new models. In Turkey, EVs are gaining popularity, offering drivers a comfortable and safe driving experience while also increasing in variety. Recently, the Automotive Distributors and Mobility Association (ODMD) shared the best-selling EV models of 2024. Let’s take a look at the most popular electric vehicles in Turkey.

TOGG T10X

Selling over 17,000 vehicles in 2024, Togg dominates Turkey's EV market. Tesla Model Y

One of the most preferred EV models globally and in Turkey, the Tesla Model Y is known for its advanced safety features. Among Turkey's most popular EVs, the Mercedes-Benz EQB stands out in the electric SUV segment with its stylish design. The interior can be customized with 64 different ambient lighting options. Prioritizing comfort, this model has a range of 490 km and can charge from 10% to 80% in just 35 minutes with DC fast charging. Kia EV9

Kia's EV9 model, part of a broad lineup catering to different needs, is a popular choice among drivers transitioning to electric vehicles. Hyundai IONIQ 5

Renault Megane E-Tech

With a compact body and a sporty, aerodynamic design, the Renault Megane E-Tech is one of the most anticipated EV models in Turkey. Equipped with 21 advanced driving assistance systems, it ensures safe driving while standing out with user-friendly features. This model accelerates from 0-100 km/h in 7.4 seconds and has a range of 450 km.

As the electric vehicle market continues to grow, Turkey’s domestic automaker Togg is making significant progress with the T10X model. Additionally, although not included in this list, models such as the Hyundai IONIQ 6, Volvo XC40, Kia Niro, Chery Tiggo, and Dacia’s electric models are frequently searched by users. In the coming years, environmentally friendly EVs are expected to become even more widespread in Turkey and around the world.
