Turkey's Electric Vehicle Fleet – June 2026

Electric vehicle ownership in Turkey continues to grow steadily. As of June 2026, the electric vehicle fleet has exceeded 447,000 units, and market share has reached 18.33%.
Looking at the monthly figures, TOGG finished June at the top with 4,503 units sold, while KGM ranked second with 1,658 units sold. At the model level, the TOGG T10X led the list with 2,933 units sold, followed by the KGM Torres in second place with 1,658 units sold.

Development of Charging Infrastructure and the Spread of Charging Stations – June 2026


Charging infrastructure is one of the most critical elements of the electric vehicle ecosystem. In June, the total number of charging sockets reached 45,171, an increase of 1,142 sockets in a single month. The number of vehicles per socket rose to 9.9. Alongside the consumption levels in Bursa, Kocaeli, and Antalya — where industry, transportation, and tourism activity stand out — the presence of Balıkesir, Bolu, Konya, and Muğla among the top 10 provinces shows that electric vehicle use continues to spread across Turkey. This regional distribution indicates that the need for charging infrastructure is increasingly growing not only in metropolitan areas but also along intercity transport corridors and in different regions of Anatolia.
